Effects of Various Environmental Conditions on the Growth of Amaranthus patulus Bertol. and Changes of Herbicide Efficacy Caused by Increasing Temperatures

Understanding the effects of climate change on weed growth and herbicide activity is important for optimizing applications effective control in future. Therefore, this study examined how affects Amaranthus patulus efficacy soil foliar herbicides at different temperatures. Although values A. differed between temperature, increased with increasing time after treatments. Under conditions which temperature remained constant, soil-applied herbicides, ethalfluralin, metolachlor, linuron, alachlor, was highest when weeds were grown high temperature. In particular, 100% achieved response to metolachlor treatments total recommended dosage chambers 35 °C. The glufosinate-ammonium, bentazone, mecoprop, also plant except glyphosate isopropylamine, had similar rates regardless controlled mecoprop dosages 30 changed from day night, alachlor On other hand, linuron varied depending whether constant or alternating temperatures, generally high.
